For the Kite commercial, we ventured into the future with a visually stunning spaceship setting. The decision to shoot wide added a unique, expansive feel to the commercial. This stylistic choice helped to emphasize the look of the spaceship and the futuristic environment we created.
A significant element of the commercial was the 3D animated backpacks. These were a central focus, and we ensured they were integrated seamlessly with the live-action footage to maintain a cohesive look and feel throughout the spot.
One of the director's creative ideas was to "beam" a cat into a different space. This concept added a whimsical and futuristic touch to the commercial, aligning perfectly with the overall theme.
Working with the cat on set proved challenging, as it didn't always follow our plans. To overcome this, we shot the cat later against a green screen, allowing us to composite it into the scene later.
In the end, our creative solutions and attention to detail brought the Kite spaceship adventure to life. The combination of wide-angle cinematography, 3D Animations, and clever use of green screens resulted in a captivating commercial that transports viewers to a futuristic world.
